What is covered when you buy and install a system through A to Z Alphabet Technologies, and how to get help.
1. Manufacturer warranty
Products carry the warranty given by their manufacturer, such as product and performance warranties on solar panels, and product warranties on inverters, batteries, motors, cameras and devices. The period and terms for each product are stated in your quotation and on the warranty card or certificate handed over at installation.
We register warranties where the manufacturer requires it and handle claims with the manufacturer for you.
2. Installation workmanship
We warrant our installation work, including mounting, wiring, terminations and configuration, for 12 months from the date of commissioning. If a fault is caused by our workmanship in that period, we fix it free of charge.
3. What is not covered
- damage from lightning, power surges, flooding, fire or other natural events, unless the product warranty covers them
- damage caused by misuse, accidents, pests, or changes and repairs made by anyone other than us or the manufacturer
- normal wear, cosmetic marks and consumables such as remote batteries
- problems caused by the internet connection, mobile network, third-party apps or the electricity supply
- panel cleaning, and loss of output from shading or dirt
4. Service requests
Contact us at [Placeholder — contact email] with your name, address, invoice number and a description or photo of the problem. We will diagnose it, by phone or remotely where possible, and schedule a visit if needed.
Repairs or replacements outside warranty, and visits for issues that are not covered, are charged as quoted before the work.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance keeps systems running well and may be a condition of some manufacturer warranties. Ask us about maintenance visits and annual maintenance contracts.
